Happy Valentine’s Day to one and all! I hope you have a day overflowing with love on what is a wonderful time for anyone working in the flower, chocolate, fine dining or rubber johnny business! 😍
A couple of quick facts about me and Valentine’s Day:
Uno – my granddad on my mother’s side was born on Valentine’s Day, hence his name Robert Valentine Morris. I never knew him unfortunately, but with a name like that I’m sure he was a top gent.
Dos – have you ever played the game where you work out when you were conceived? It’s quite easy. All you have to do is take your birth date and subtract nine months from it. I was born on the 13th of November 1974, for example, so if you do the maths you should hopefully be able to work out where I’m going with this (give or take the odd day). 😉
By the way, if you were born on New Year’s Day, I’d probably stay away from playing this game.
I will be spending Valentine’s Day with my beautiful little Catalina – a fine example of a Yorkshire terrier, I’m sure you will agree. She will be on the receiving end of endless belly rubs and any amount of doggy treats. I recently wrote a blog post about her which, in many respects, is a letter of my relentless love for her.
And if love is in the air and you are planning to engage in a bit of the old rumpy pumpy ce soir, make sure you are a little more careful than a certain couple were way back on that fateful Valentine’s Day of 1974! 💘
As the song goes: Don’t be stupid, don’t be silly, put a condom on your willy!
